Climate
The dry season is from December through April and the rainy season is from May through November with May and November having heavy rainfalls. However the Central Pacific coast sees much less rain than other parts of the country. The challenge however is to educate the potential tourists that April through November are excellent times to travel and visit Costa Rica’s rich land of adventure. During these rainy months there are really only two months that might have rains all day long which are May and October.

The rest of the months are delightful on the Central Pacific coast because it typically only rains at night, it’s less crowded. This perception of Costa Rica only being a great place to visit between November and March is a difficult issue that many in the tourism business are wrestling with.
